Performance Characteristics
Simoniz Underguard is a black spray specially formulated for your car’s underbody and sills. These areas of your vehicle are vulnerable to damage from stone chips and rust, but our Underguard provides a protective coating that prevents corrosion and damage.
It is also resistant to heat up to 120°C, so you can use it on your vehicle knowing that it will withstand the temperature while driving.
Offering a durable protective finish, Underguard protects against rust, stone chips, salt, and moisture, preserving the integrity of components that are most at risk from daily wear and tear.
As well as corrosion and wear and tear, it also protects against extreme temperatures. Perfect for spraying components under your car, including exhausts, the product forms a heat-resistant coating to ensure that every part of the undercarriage is protected from rust and wear. Whatever the conditions and however old your car, Simoniz Underguard offers mile after mile of protection, providing an important line of defence that can help to prevent rusts, wear, cracks, and pitting.

Application Recommendation
Before using Simoniz Underguard, make sure your car is parked in a well-ventilated area. We would also recommend raising the vehicle off the ground, so you have easy access to apply the spray with the greatest degree of accuracy.
Simoniz Underguard has a 360° accurate spray action that makes it easy to apply the paint where you need it. When spraying sills, we suggest covering the lower portion of the paintwork to reduce the chance of transfer.
With a soft-bristled brush, remove any dirt, debris, and rust from components. Then, holding the spray can 25-30cm from the surface, apply in even lines one coat at a time.
It’s important to apply Underguard in thin, even coats to minimise drying times and ensure a smooth, durable finish. If you need to apply two or more coats, leave the product to dry before applying the next coat.
